Spotlight: IN TOO DEEP by Amanda Grace

Amanda Grace's sophomore novel, In Too Deep, releases today from Flux!
I never meant for anyone to get hurt. All I wanted to do that night was make a play for Carter Wellesley. His heartless rejection was mortifying, but people got the wrong idea when they saw me leaving his bedroom, crying. That's how rumors of rape started.
Now girls at school are pouring out their sympathy to me. Guys too. But not everyone's on my side. The school has become a war zone and the threats are getting scary. What began as poetic justice has morphed into something bigger--forcing me to make a terrible choice.

Amanda Grace's debut novel, But I Love Him, was one of my favorite contemporary reads of 2011. I expect nothing less of In Too Deep for 2012, and I'm not the only one who is impressed.

It was Junior Library Guild Selection.

Kirkus Reviews says the story is "honest and constantly interesting", and it "pulls no punches."

When I see a novel that involves lies and rumors, I know it's going to be good. That type of story has huge potential for intense conflict from start to finish. There are just so many things that can go wrong before it all gets fixed again. I dare you to read the opening and not get sucked right in.

Check out the author's website, Twitter, and goodreads page for more about In Too Deep and her other novels, both as Amanda Grace and Mandy Hubbard.

Happy reading!
