Good News Friday

Last week, YALSA announced a number of lists, including the 2011 Best Fiction for Young Adults and the 2011 Quick Picks for Reluctant Readers.

So, I want to send out a BIG congratulations to:

April Henry, whose book, GIRL, STOLEN made both lists, something that is not easy to do.

Courtney Summers, who ALSO made both lists, with her 2009 title, SOME GIRLS ARE. Not only that, SOME GIRLS ARE is a top ten pick on the Quick Pick list!!

Daisy Whitney, who made the Best Fiction for YA list, with THE MOCKINGBIRDS,

Kody Keplinger, whose book, THE DUFF, is a top ten pick for the Quick Pick list

And finally, to Elizabeth Scott, who made the Quick Picks list with her 2010 book, THE UNWRITTEN RULE.

So proud of all you!!!
